In summer I sometimes sleep in the barn so that I can hear the horses, that is really relaxing. Such a video would be nice for winter 🙂 Luckily due to hard work every day I never have trouble falling asleep. To get the corners done better I would suggest to slow Lady down and when the windrow is at the height of between your cart and tedder start side stepping her towards the windrow and it will work perfectly 😀 ..or start to turn from a greater distance to the windrow. Have a nice day!! –Chris
Maybe it’s a natural thing for your horse to not want to walk on the hay because it is a raised grass clump and she will always head towards areas of less grass. If horses are in a paddock they walk on their track they make to go to water or feed lots. I remember when as a young boy asking the same question and that was the answer I got. Even in the wild animals have tracks because it’s the known route they travel along. Maybe it’s a safe thing also as other critters (dangerous or not) live in the taller grasses etc. Animals are clever critters more than we think ? ?
