A great start to a new year! Most everything in the shop is clean n shiny! Corn is in the coop! N Laura’s huge smile is lighting up the shop!!! Good job team! On to the rest of the days!!! Is the kinetic rope a Yankum-Matt’s Off-Road Recovery Rope by chance? How may tons of corn can the Freightliner Tractor/Trailer handle? It is interesting to see how much diversity that is in your farming operations. I guess farms have to do that in order to stay in business. I have mentioned before that both sides of my family have farming roots. My granddad and tobacco farming from 1930’s until early 1970s on my mothers side. My father’s sister was in the milk production farming. Both of these farms had one main operation. I think that is what killed farming by the early 1980s. Most farming operations found out just like major corporations if they diversified their operations if one aspect (because of marketing conditions) they could still have income from other areas. The “one trick pony” farms are gone! Grant’s a little protective of his corn. Need to do a video on Coops. And use Aurora as the model because not too many coops have their own 145 million gallon ethanol plants.
