The Himoko water bus looks almost exactly like Dan Dare’s (Pilot of the Future) spaceship Anastasia, as seen in the UK boys comic The Eagle over 50 years ago. On the Spymaster MiniSub the air does NOT come from a hose on the ship, it comes from the tank on the front of the sub. Breathing and depth control use the same tank. The “hose” you see in the video is NOT a hose; it is a rope, meant to keep people from wandering off. If you privately own one, you can use it untethered. I got into one of those personal subs and there was no air in the bubble! I could not breathe. After signaling to the diver, he finally opened the valve from the air tank. The bubble then filled with gasoline engine fumes causing me to succumb to carbon monoxide poisoning.
