My son is a Marine. He served 6 months on a naval amphibious ship. He was thankful that it was his last deployment prior to his honorable discharge from the Corp as a full corporal. They offered him a 3rd stripe to reup. He said no. He’s very grateful for his time in the Marines. It helped him as a person to get squared away. Thanku and God bless all who have, are serving and will serve. As a Marine from the Viet Nam era I want to thank my Navy friends for all their transport, logistical support, medical support and a thousand other things that they do for us. Without you guys we would be greatly diminished! Semper Fi my brothers on the waves!
