For Ashish below ; get to know your horses well enough , & you will get to just think the commands , use the same simple command for each request , in your own language , they,ll get used to you , & they,ll know what to do , they latch right in to your emotions , like a dog studies you , but more intense . My grandad used to plough with a horse , & he told me . You can,t hide a secret from your horse , he / she knows you better than your wife ! Treat it with respect , & rest it as it will get tired , it,s alive , an animal , not a machine . All the best from england . My grandfather started farming with two Belgium horses after he got out of the USMC at the end of WW2. They are such majestic and beautiful animals! It’s good to see the old ways are still alive and well. We had a mower like this on our farm in Idaho and was used up to when my grandfather passed away. We converted it to a tractor pull but if the weather was nice we would put the tongue back on and use the mules. People would go crazy driving by on the interstate stopping to take pictures.?
