Excellent film. The sound from the A400M turbulence is amazing. (What a place to live!) The Fire crews have all worked so hard in the past few weeks. I have recently been involved in a major annual shooting competition at Bisley Ranges in surrey and there have been massive fires all around the Ranges, with many interruptions to the competitions as a result. Crews from Hampshire and Sussex have been attending alongside Surrey Fire and Rescue and MOD crews as well. I fear we will see far more of these sorts of heath, woodland and grass fires in the UK from now on, with global warming, extreme heat events and far more windy summers. The Fire Crews do fantastic work in very challenging conditions and earn huge respect from me! Not the first time, when I was OC Ops the Fire Section fought an out of control grass fire in the rough ground to the north of the airfield that was inexorably closing in on the BFI. All the LFB had were beaters which had little impact in the progress, once within range the MFV and a branch soon dealt with the fire.
