There is a lever on the back of the fence. When cross cutting like that pull the fence back so it’s only used for the actual measuring. When the table is pushed forward the cut piece passes the fence can’t be wedged and thrown back.
seeing that workshop made me imagine if she’s a woodwork teacher….. none of the boys would skip her classes!
