Steam Engine at 2009 Traction Engine Rally Pickering – 1950s , we sometime get late to our school watching this running up and down. what a messy way. thanks for the vedio. -The power of steam always wins .this is because of the vast amount torgue at low revs. notice how slow the piston us going but full power! -A nice pull from a lovely little engine. The front end lifted because the drawbar is too high- it should be below the rear axle instead of even with it. Still, steam power is amazing. A fraction of the power of her modern equivalent, and this little engine scores very nearly a full pull without one bit of wheel slip.
