The big recent attraction that Canadian farmers have with the German machinery like Claas and Fendt is their fuel consumption. Many die-hard Deere and Case users here, have been making the switch to Claas Lexion combines, Jaguar Harvesters and Fendt Vario tractors. Especially in areas with medium acreage and Ontario type conditions more similar to Europe with fields mixed with wood lots and hilly country. The Horsch implements are getting very popular too. Especially the “Joker” where low tillage is the goal.
