Ahhh… memories! They are made one minute at a time, Having a wood splitter can be a big help in making them fond ones. When my oldest grandson was about 6, I put him on the control of my home made hydraulic log splitter. We went over the signals for up, down and stop. I found him a safe place to stand out if the way of the pinch points…. and we commenced to getting started. Nana captured the look on his face when the first piece was cleaved. It hangs over my workbench in the shop. He really got into destroying wood. I was worn out long before the stockpile of rounds was gone… but how do you stop when your partner is having the thrill of his life? He is 17 now. School, athletics, work, girlfriend… there are a lot of distractions in his life. But, nonetheless he still manages to come by and cut wood every time he can… even if he only has an hour or two. My neighbor and I are looking at retiring our homemade splitter and getting a new one… maybe Wolferidge is the way we’ll go. Thanks for the review.
The chicken bit was awesome, that rooster was just waiting for the right opportunity to lay one in. LOL And boy!, those yoga pants are getting in the way of me learning the wood trade. smh
Dang! The yoga pants get me every time! ??Something about a log splitter??
Great video!, Definitely looking forward to her doing running it though lol. I admit I sub because of her but honestly it is great content too between the mill, outdoor lights and even repurposing the scrap wood but it is a package that includes her too so if it’s just you and your pops that’s cool but if it’s with her then put the thumb nail just don’t be one of those youtubers that put nails when it’s never in the actual video. Glad to see the channel growing!
