What is not known when people discuss US Fighter jet technology , is that many 4 th gen fighters are retrofitted with 5 th gen hardware, and 5 th gen fighters are being constantly upgraded, todays F-22, is not 2010’s F-22. The Raptor is in its own league by a wide margin. I’d like to know if each jet can be controlled independently for much more effective maneuverability?!? Like spin and roll maneuvers and stopping mid flight. The next top notch jet needs better speed, ultimate thrust vectoring and most of all hover capabilities stopping and starting mid flight giving our pilots time to lock on to all types if targets. Most of all better air to air and ground type rockets that can even take out from above ground those damn machine gun bots!! OK video, but “Corps” is pronounced “core.” Marine Corpse is a gruesome mental image…and the glass is a canopy and not a “shield.” “A rather upgraded and improvised version…”; no there’s nothing less improvised than aircraft design.
